Single and Happy

, by Stress(-)

Embrace this moment cause you might wish you had it back. Singleness to me is an honor and it is a journey of self discovery that I am not willing to give up for just anyone. There are too many frustrated singles out their instead of satisfied singles. This should be a time when you get to know the real you and learn to love you no matter what. A time to build the character that will sustain you in your future relationship.

Time to deal with those past hurts. Get counseling for things in your past that cause you pain whenever you think about it. Avoid carrying unnecessary baggage into any future relationship, deal with the issues now so they wont be a stumbling block in your relationship to come.

Learn to love yourself not just like yourself. The main component of low self esteem is a lack of love for oneself. What we love we spend time with. Do you make time for yourself? Pamper yourself once in a while, compliment yourself on how beautiful you are without any makeup. Yes I said without makeup, your natural you is the real you and any compliment given at that moment means more that all others. Love your curves or your lack of curves, either way you are still gorgeous.

Are you fun to be with? Hang out with yourself and discover what you consider to be fun and what keeps you going. Keep a self journal and write down what irritates you and what brings you joy, then go ahead and self analyze why they have that effect on you. Work on Enjoying this moment in your life, establish healthy routines such as working out or playing a sport. Love love love this season in your life. Enjoy the journey.

Unemployment or Opportunity

, by Stress(-)

Bills bills bills...

That's the bell that rang in my head when I was first unemployed. It is said that worrying cannot solve any situation and that is true. Like myself you have probably sent your resume to numerous employers, so many you probably have lost count. Out of frustration of getting no job offers, I decided to just wait for a response. In the midst of waiting I began to discover a lot about myself and began to realize that there are other ways to make money until the job comes. I called my insurance company and other companies I owed and explained my situation to them. They were able to give me an extension.

I began to think of creative ways to make money on the side. I began doing one time event jobs that were out of my field which gained me more experience and allowed me to network with people. I started taking myself more seriously, so I wrote out all the ideas that came to my head and made a business plan on how I would get them done. I got more involved in my community and this opened more doors to network with other individuals that were able to refer me to there company. During this period of unemployment I learned what it really means to budget and that I am a true entrepreneur at heart.

Here are list of great things to keep you busy while you wait for a job:

 1. Start an idea journal: No idea or invention is too small

 2. Start a blog of an area of interest or an area of expertise. For income place ads on your blog from Google

3. Sign up to work different events in your area. They are one time gigs that pay really well. Craigslist-gigs-events

4. Take better care of your body: Go running around your neighborhood or a close by park(great way to network).

5. I just signed for this new marketing website that gains you 2% each day on your investment. They start you off with a complimentary $10 added to your account. Give it a try all you need is email address to start. http://adv.justbeenpaid.com/?r=chitory

6. Get involved in your community. Attend free events and participate in groups of interest to you

Shop Smart = Save More

, by Stress(-)

Ever since I can remember I have had the ability to stretch a $1 dollar bill to last me for weeks. Many articles are promoting having a budget, but to me its like being on a diet it will only last for a couple of months and then back to the old routine, if the individual is not well disciplined.

1.   Never spend when you are upset, depressed, lonely...etc. When you spend during this time, you end up buying overpriced and unattractive items. I remember a day I went shopping after a bad exam score, I ended up buying a dress that was overpriced and not very flattering after I took it home.

2.   Shop only when you are happy! When you shop during this time you allow your brain to function at its full capacity and you are more prone to make wiser decisions and spend less.

3.   Never! I say Never underestimate the quality you can find in discount stores. When it comes to clothes I am a faithful shopper of stores like Half & Half, Burlington Coat Factory, and Ross.

4.   Shop in the Back. Major stores like Nordstrom, Macy, Victoria Secret, Aldo, Kohl, Best Buy, and so on… Usually keep the most expensive products in the front of the store strategically in order to hook their customers in, and leave the clearance or sale items tucked away in the corner somewhere(usually by the dressing room or bathroom.) I got a gorgeous black silk dress at Nordstrom for just $9.

5.   Patience is a virtue. Never shop last minute! Your mind is in a hurry and anything looks good and affordable at this point even that $200 scarf. I know sometimes we procrastinate and do have to go against this rule. If so, write a detailed list of what exactly you are looking for, called ahead to make sure its available, eat at home before you go, write down the price range you are willing to stay in, and finally carry cash of the maximum amount you are able to spend.

Make Money Work

, by Stress(-)

Money is your friend. To many people fall victim to the power of money because we don't understand what money is supposed to do for us. Money is not the root of all evil it is the mismanagement and unhealthy love for it. What we love we hold on tight to and are willing to die for. That's what we saw after the stock market crashed, the people who loved money the most where the ones who were truly devastated.

The most important thing is Understanding that money is just a tool in your hands to help you build your life and not the builder itself. Managing money does not just consist of locking it away in what we call a savings account, which yields little to no interest rate. Money is supposed to help us to help others, live comfortably and make more money. We are so scared of running out of money that we are unaware of the holes in our pockets from which our money is falling out from.

Do not be afraid to make small investments in what you love. Whether its in a car brand, grocery store, restaurant, or technology brand if you have had great experiences with that specific company, does it not make sense to maybe buy two of their stocks and then progress from there. A stock from one of the top company's cost less than a evening gown or a suit not on sale. Just like you set aside money to pay those bills, also set aside money for investing from each paycheck.

What Love is and is not.

Love takes time to think
Love does not change it's mind
Love makes sacrifices on your behalf
Love takes time to grow
Love is not selfish
Love goes beyond the physical
Love uplifts and never puts down
Love withstand every wrinkle
Love is never in a rush
Love is full of adventure
Love is willing to learn
Love keeps no diary of your flaws
Love has self-control

How to Truly Forgive

, by Stress(-)

I am tired of people forgiving and not forgetting. Look I am not saying that your mind is a magic eraser that can suddenly wipe things away or that you should just pretend that it never happened. No not at all!

Forgiveness according to Webster dictionary is "to cease to feel resentment against (an offender)".

When you forgive please please please do not bring it up again. When you do it means you did not forgive you just put it on a shelf in your mind in case you will need it for later. When you forgive you choose to learn from the situation and never let it happen again but you do not hold it over their head. Have you ever had someone bring up something you did to them in the past in order to justify their present actions towards you? I have and its really frustrating, its like that secret weapon that they know can always justify anything they do, because they know you have done worse to them in the past. Its amazing how when you say "I forgive you" and truly mean it, there is a heavy load that is lifted off of your heart and mind. I have been on both sides and I know what its like to forgive and also to be forgiven. As an offender it is easier to say "I am sorry" and move on with life and not think twice about the person you offended but as the victim the situation is often replayed in your memory time and time again until you make a choice to forgive. When you forgive you are not justifying the fact that the individual was wrong, you are choosing to move on in life in spite of what others did to you.

Three things I do to help me truly forgive and move on
1. I talk to a close friend about it. Do not become a gossip, pick one close friend and vent.

2. I pray and ask for help to forgive. In order to forgive, you have to remember that you also have been forgiven.

3. Finally I record it in my forgiveness diary. When I forgive I write down who I forgave and what I forgave them for.(Once I write it down I never look at it again and I move on from there).

Abuser or Lover?

, by Stress(-)

Punches and curses followed by words of apologies. "I am sorry" they say, "I still love you" they proclaim. These are the words that are played back in the mind when an opportunity for escape arises. They said they will change and that the blows to the face are not intentional, its just that they get angry sometimes. You convince yourself they will change, time and time again, to the point when shame, lack of self worth and self blame takes over your heart. You feel trapped in a cage with an abuser by night and a lover by day. A lover that keeps a close eye on you by calling and checking up on you with the real intentions of knowing your whereabouts at the moment. A lover that is full of jealousy and wants you for themselves, even though they already have you. Anger and jealousy are their best friend and they dictate how they treat you. No matter how perfect you try to be they will always find a reason to abuse you. They are your abusive lover, that you are probably not reading this with. You are meant to be loved and not to be abused in the name of love. Please get help.

Protandim Really Works

, by Stress(-)

For as along as I can remember, I have been a skeptic of all these dietary supplements promising quick weight loss and I just assumed that they were all jokes. I still think that diet and exercise is the best way to loose weight but a little assistance never hurts anyone.

About two months ago I was complaining to my mother that I was having back pains and that I felt that it was caused from all the stress in my life at the time. If you noticed I already diagnosed myself, but before I could go on with the conversation she started telling me about this amazing wonder drug called "PROTANDIM", that reduced the sizes of the bulging varicose veins on her leg. As you may be thinking, "what does back pain have to do with varicose vein", she began to tell me that different people are experiencing numerous positive effects. Such as relief from depression, pain, paralysis caused by stroke and other things. Before I could tell her that I was not interested she insisted on sending me one. So I decided to give it a try, I drank protandim for 30days and I am telling you that the back pain I had completely went away and all the other irregularities going on in my body stopped. My uncle was also convinced after he took the first bottle and noticed that the pain he was having on his back was gone. WOW, I could not wait to see my mom to confirm what she told me about those varicose veins. To my great shock it was so true, the humongous varicose veins my mother had on her legs have reduced to minor ones and are still decreasing in size. For years I have been planning to pay for my mom to have surgery on those varicose veins because it was just so bad, but guess what, Protandim took care of it without any incision.

Being a Nurse, I decided to do some research on this product before I promote it and to see how it is able to have these great effects on the body. Free radical are atoms or groups of atoms with an odd (unpaired) number of electrons and can be formed when oxygen interacts with certain molecules. They are by products of oxygen metabolism whether from breathing, eating and drinking. These free radicals begin to damage the cells around it and it exposes the body to a lot of harm. Free radicals are one of the major causes of disease and aging, the more in the body the higher the risk. Protandim has its effect on the cells in the body by slowing down their aging process. Protandim works by drastically reducing the amount of free radical in your body, which can lead to a reversal or reduction of certain conditions.
